We will implement the Ally network in multiple phases:
Q4 2023 - Beta Season 1
In this season, users will need to mint zkSync Beta Passes. They can accrue Ally Points by engaging in activities that support the development of the Ally ecosystem, such as viewing advertisements. In the future, these points can be exchanged for Ally tokens.
For more details on Ally Points, visit
During this period, our team aims to:
Publish the swap and bridge functionality (currently undergoing some final touches).
Address all legal matters about token issuance.
Share the architecture for developing Add-ons.
Develop and conduct audits for MarketingDAO and DeveloperDAO.
Updated plan:
Since the project did not receive sufficient adoption, we will take advantage of our ability to postpone the implementation of further plans until market conditions improve.
We will keep you updated here or on the Via Protocol Twitter account.
Old plan:
Q1 2024 - Beta Season 2
This season, users can claim their points on-chain as ERC20 non-transferable tokens. This facilitates the staking process and engagement in DAO voting. Specifically, our team will:
Introduce a beta version of the DAO on zkSync Era, incorporating Marketing and Developer sub-DAOs, and start testing the voting mechanism.
Initiate the distribution of points via the DAO for Add-on development.
Launch points staking.
Explore potential funding rounds and negotiate exchange listings.
Q2 2024 - Q3 2024 - Main Launch
If the first and second beta seasons progress as planned, the main launch will occur during this period. During the main launch, and afterward, our team will:
Roll out the Ally token and enable points conversion into the token.
Launch the DAO featuring Marketing and Developer subDAOs.
The Developer DAO Core team will:
Focus on product backlog development.
Improve the Add-ons architecture.
Create educational materials and encourage external contributors through hackathons and brand development.
The Marketing DAO Core team will:
Focus on attracting advertisers.
Develop advertising publication and targeting tools.
Attract external affiliates via advertising on specialized platforms.
Q4 24 and later
After the main launch, we will focus our efforts on popularizing our product among the non-web3 audience, requiring an interface simplification to the extent that crypto details remain hidden from view.
This will include:
Simplified onboarding for new users with wallet access through biometrics, thanks to integration with ZeroDev.
The ability to pay users for ad views directly to their credit cards worldwide through integration with the decentralized P2P exchange OpenPeer.
Purchasing performance marketing on web2 advertising networks.
At this stage we want to give users the option to decide for themselves if they want to share part of their earnings from the ads with the owner of the website.
